About me

My path to becoming a therapist was not a linear one—it was born from personal upheaval, emotional transformation, and a deep longing for understanding. During my pregnancy, I experienced a profound and disorienting shift in my body, my relationship, and my sense of self. What I had expected to be a joyful transition into motherhood became a time marked by confusion, emotional isolation, and a deep disconnect from intimacy. I found myself navigating a sea of complex emotions without a map, unsure of how to access the support or knowledge I needed.

In that vulnerable space, I made a choice—to seek education, insight, and healing not only for myself but for others who might feel the same way. My personal pain became the catalyst for my professional purpose. A lifetime of silent struggles and societal misinformation about identity, intimacy, and self-worth came to a head, and I knew I wanted to be part of something bigger than symptom management—I wanted to help people feel whole.

My academic and clinical journey has been shaped by a commitment to understanding the full spectrum of the human experience: emotional, physical, relational, sexual, and psychological. While sexual health and wellness are core components of my work, they are never treated in isolation. Instead, I integrate them as essential aspects of well-being and personal connection.

This commitment has led me to dream bigger. I wanted to create a comprehensive wellness and mental health space—a place where people are supported in every part of who they are. It would be a space that embraces emotional insight, physical health, relational clarity, and personal growth—recognizing that true well-being lives at the intersection of these experiences. It’s not just about care; it’s about creating a deeper sense of belonging, understanding, and transformation.
